During the week they are slow to get coffee served so it's quicker if I drive to timmys even though my office is in the block. Good coffee though.
Amazing catering service and delicious food for my impromptu wedding! Sandwiches were great..soup was outstanding..salads were a big hit..and the coffee was some of the best! My first time tasting F.I.X and it was incredible! Wouldnt have had anyone else, i am so glad they were able to provide last minute service for our small last minute wedding! Will definitely recommend im the future!
In the middle of a sadly declining downtown is this gem. Slave Lake used to be vibrant and have a good amount of unique restaurants and shops, but the development south of the highway has changed it to a typical restaurant chain/box store town. This beautiful coffee shop is right out of any trendy city. The art, the atmosphere, and the coffee and fresh baking could fit right in the trendy district in Seattle, Portland, or Berlin. This is a gem in the middle of Slave Lake. Make sure to stop by and have lunch or at least a coffee/baked good.
I loved my experience at FIX Coffee Bar & Bakery. The soup was flavourful and original. Our sandwiches were fresh through and through. My Macchiato was great. And the brownies... you've got to try their brownies. With only one day in Slave Lake, I am so glad I found this cafe and was able to avoid all the chain restaurants that litter this town. Great atmosphere, great decor, great food and drinks.
The food never disappoints. Staff is always warm and friendly. 2 thumbs up on the coconut cream pie.
